Every movie that always comes out kills the actual game. Hitman is gone now, Max payne was never close to the games storyline. What next? Micheal moore is gona hire some Siberian guy off the street and throw him in NYC and call it "Grand theft auto"?

I thought that Doom the movie was pretty good... Other than that, all other videogame translations suck. But there might be a hope for it.
A Gears of War movie...? Really?...? The cutscenes in Gears of War was like a low quality movie already... They don't need a movie for that.

at least Bioshock is in good hands... I love Pirates of Caribean and I think the director is good enough to make something really epic with Bioshock...

Movies based on games like Warcraft, Gears Of War, Bioshock have a lot of potential because the stories are good, but Hollywood does have the reputation of ruining good movie ideas.

There is a super Mario movie . Starring John Leguzamo (think that's how it's spelled) Anthony Hopkins, and Dennis hopper. Sadly enough saw that in the theaters. Funny thing they ended the film opening for a sequel but never happened. For what it's worth the movie's not that bad.
