DiRT 2 is enhanced for DirectX 11, so if you're running on DX11 hardware and a compatible OS you'll benefit from enhanced visuals.

i wonder how enhanced are they?

The truck have a realy arcade feel like, but the raly is preaty good. i like raly, to bad it's not how it used to be with 6 specials and all that like in the old colin mcrae games.

overal it is a preaty solid game.
1 thing that doesn't look righ is the dirt on the raly cars. doesn't look to real if u ask me.

I think the game is cool, very similar to grid. I never played much dirt 1 but comparing the pics the quality is similar.
All around it is a nice game, is going to be in my hard drive for a while .

I didn´t notice the dirt in the cars, i think it will look nicer in dx 11. Is there any patch to enable dx 11 stuff on dx 10 cards?

it should be auto enabled if u have a dx11 card... From what i heard there isn't many changes

Tesselation is used for DiRT2 to render DX 11 features and no there is not a patch to enable DX11 "stuff" and never will be as Tesselation is strictly DX11 API.

The game uses so few DX11 features(water, cloth, and crowd) that doesn't worth being mentioned.

The new DX doesn't bring much to the table and Nvidia in an press interview stated that the new DX will not sell DX11 cards which I strongly agree.

In the last dirt game there was a dx 10 patch to enable the effects in dx 9

the game is great. one minus point goes to menu (trailer menu). it's lag so much even on low settings. outside the trailer menu it works like a charm

yes i experienced some sutteringh in the trailer too.
